34" x 20" x 12" Papier mache, acrylic paint | Everyone always asks - Where to you get your ideas? I usually have no good answer - they just come to me. But I do have an answer for this piece. I had made two papier mache shoes (over wire screening) that were just sitting on a shelf in my studio (don't ask where the idea for the shoes came from!). The problem was they were of two very different sizes. I decided to try to put them into a single piece - thus - If the Shoe Fits. It usually makes viewers laugh, which is a good thing. | ||||||
